It is our desire to see every believer rooted and grounded in the faith and equipped for every work of the ministry. Our motto is "Scripture and Prayer to Conform us to the Image of Christ." Every ministry we have is centered around the Bible and geared for application in our everyday lives. If you have never visited with us we invite you to come as we worship of our God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Bethel was formed in 1847 and since then has undergone various, structural, and building improvements. Bethel was part of the American Baptist Convention, but then later withdrew from the denomination in 1994 to become a truly independent church. Much of the rich history of our church has been preserved and kept on site in a special archive section. The church remains an active and thriving body nearly 170 years since its formation and continues to move forward into the 21st century declaring the glory and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We look forward to the second coming of Christ at anytime. We do our best to fulfill the Great Commission and spread the good news of the Gospel both here at home and around the world through foreign Missions.
